Are there any Whiplash fans here on these boards? Whiplash made some killer thrash metal. Power And Pain is a must have thrash classic.

I'm a big fan of early Whiplash, although I didn't like "Insult to Injury" too much and kind of wrote them off -until I got ahold of the cool Thrashback cd, which was a reunion of the 3 Tony's.
I even had a brief email conversation with Tony Portaro a couple of years ago, which I thought was cool as hell! They had a website, whiplashmetalmusic...but I think it shut down after Tony Bono passed away. R.I.P.

Tony Bono dying was a sad day. I played Whiplash all night as a tribute. He died a little too young.

Their debut Power And Pain is really fucking great album!! Ticket To Mayhem is OK too, I haven't heard any other albums.
I love all of Whiplash's releases. Cult of One and Sit, Stand, Kneel, Prey are both killer albums. Not as thrashy as the first two but instead more crunchy and melodic.....should be in any Whiplash fans collection.
My favorite would have to be Ticket.... followed by Power & Pain.
