A tour has just been confirmed scheduled to start end of January and last through the end of March is Whitesnake, The Scorpions and Dokken. Should be a good show I am very excited about it. I know Dokken isn't at their best anymore and no where near it but I am still happy I am gonna get to see them. Whitesnake going out is awesome too. They may be no where near their prime but I still think they will put on a good show. Then there are the Scorpions a band who from what I hear still put on an amazing concert to this day. I am looking foward to this my first time seeing all three bands live. Tour dates should be up soon.

I saw the Scorps 3 years ago with Motley Crew. The only original members were Klaus Mein and Rudolf Schenker. They played with a lot of energy and the show was good. But, the real Scorps reigned in the 70's with Uli Jon Roth. Virgin Killer, In Trance, Fly to the Rainbow and Tokyo Tapes are examples of incredibly original and raw early metal. Uli is regarded as the Master of Classical/Shred guitar. If they could some somehow get Uli to tour...that would be a show.

A good package. I hate to say it, but all three of these bands are on their last legs, this could be one of the last times they'll be out on tour. They aren't playing arenas are they? If they are, I'll be suprised.

I hope they are playing arenas. It has already been said this wont be at clubs like most metal shows are now adays. I not arenas they will be at decent sized venues.

I SAW THE SCORPIONS WITH MOTLEY A FEW YEARS BACK. THE SHOW TWO NIGHTS BEFORE KLAUS HAD FLASH BASTARD KICKED OFF THE TOUR. I WOULDN'T THINK THEY WOULD PLAY CLUBS. PROBABLY 10,000-12,000 SEATERS. ANY NEWS ON THIS TOUR?
I READ THAT REB BEACH WAS THINKING ABOUT GETTING BACK WITH DOKKEN.

The news has been slow reguarding this. The only news now is that Twisted Sister reformed and might be on the Poison summer tour along with Hanoi Rocks. As soon as I get more info on Dokken/Scorps/Snake ill post it.

DAVID COVERDALE: 'I Can't Confirm Or Deny' WHITESNAKE Lineup Rumors - Dec. 11, 2002

WHITESNAKE mastermind David Coverdale has refused to comment on the growing rumors that he has enlisted guitarist Doug Aldrich (DIO, HURRICANE, LION), bassist Marco Mendoza (THIN LIZZY, BLUE MURDER) and drummer Tommy Aldridge (OZZY OSBOURNE, TED NUGENT, THIN LIZZY) to perform as his backing band on the group's upcoming reunion tour. "I can't confirm, or deny, at this time," is all Coverdale had to say when confronted with the reports that the stellar collection of musicians would be embarking on the road alongside DOKKEN and THE SCORPIONS beginning at the end of January. When asked if it was true that John Sykes (THIN LIZZY, BLUE MURDER) was contacted about partaking in the tour via a personal call from Coverdale several weeks ago (as claimed by Sykes in a recent interview), Coverdale said, "I'd rather not discuss who was, or wasn't, invited to participate in the band, if you don't mind… I feel it would be inappropriate." Meanwhile, the first few dates for the upcoming trek have been leaked. They are as follows:

Jan. 31 - West Palm Beach, FL @ Coral Sky Amphitheatre
Feb. 02 – Tampa, FL @ St. Pete Times Forum
Feb. 27 - Minneapolis, MN @ Target Center

The complete itinerary is expected to be released within the next couple of weeks.
