Who is mixing new Arch Enemy?

Hopefully not Nordström, he butchered Tyrants.

I love this band (they are commercial but i don't give a f*ck), BUT:

Lately, they repeat themselves (some parts are awesome but i get the feeling i have listened to some of the tracks before), and the mix is REALLY tiring.

A more natural mix would be more than welcome, polished sound but not "plastic".

Yeah, the last one was a major step down from the albums that Andy mixed. Hopefully they'll get Andy to do this one, I wouldn't mind hearing what Jens Bogren could get out of Arch Enemy either.

I thought the same about the new Soilwork album which he mixed, but it turned out awesome. I'd be very curious to see how he'd handle Arch Enemy, everything he touches sounds awesome at the moment imo.

Root of All Evil was a bit muddy, but the band produced it themselves and Andy mixed, so I wonder if that had something to do with it.

I loved the songs on ROTT...But the production IMHO was horrid compared to the previous 2 AE discs. Getting the Andy mixed Tyrants of the Rising Sun DVD and CD's are very nice, as even in the live settings Andy's mixes kill for the ROTT songs they perform live. As close as we'll get to Andy mixing the studio recorded songs I suppose. Still a bummer.

I thought I read the band is kinda doing the same thing for this one as Root, though...Producing/recording themselves and someone else mixing? Do they have an actual producer lined up for tracking?

I hope it would come back to something like Anthems of Rebellion which is one of the best sounding metal albums I've ever heard. Something about raw sound but sill heavy. I love the drums.

Something between this and a more polished Doomsday Machine would be a win-win.
