i know we have a lot of lars haters here but really has there ever been a worse drummer than peter criss?have you ever listened to a old kiss record.good god!!!!!

The whole S&M record sucks. They use the orchestra like a living & breathing 100-piece keyboard. Damn, Pinellas left hand could have done better.

I haven't heard that much KISS so I cannot really com(pli)ment Criss's abilities. I know that Ulrich is no good, though.

The funny thing about Peter Criss is that he has a HUGE drumset, but never uses half of it. Its just there for show.

Wasn't that the whole point with KISS, though? ALL of it was just for show. Why else would Ace Frehley have been in the band? :Puke:

But yeah, he sucks.

I remember a friend (about 25 years ago) telling me that Peter Criss was the third best (not best or second best, but THIRD best, for some reason) drummer in the world. Ignorance is kind of funny... :goggly:

But Lars and Peter...hard to choose...both bands are all show and no substance...technical skills aren't easy to find in either band...both are always really, really, over-rated...both are basically one-trick gimmick bands...I've got it! Lars and Peter are the same person! Metallica and KISS are the same band!

Oh, wait. KISS was actually kind of fun, though, and they weren't self-absorbed, nor did they take themselves seriously. That kills any possibility of a connection.

I never honestly saw what the huge deal with Metallica is. I think they are a decent thrash band, or I should say were a decent thrash band, but I don't really see at all how they could be called the greatest metal band ever. If a band is around for 20 years and only puts out 3 or 4 good albums, something is very wrong.

I don't see the big deal with their early stuff. None of it is any good that I heard.

P.S. I saw Korn perform one on MTV Icon. Icons, can you believe that? someone actually calls Metallica Icons. Anyways, that song is actually kind a boring if you ask me. Also Korn wasn't together at all at the "fast" triplet part. The Double bass sucked.

And they skipped the solo. I know that someone will say, well, the song is like ten minutes long bla bla and it's MTV, but have you looked at the guitarplayer!? He looks like he's never held a guitar in his life and he looked sooooooo focused when he was doing the intro. Yeah, that's a tough one! :Smug:

Your talking about "Head" and "munkey" (Biggest bullshit names ever)

Steve Vai once saw them at NAMM (or something) and he said these two wierd guys came up to him and said "Ohh man, I worship you" and all that crap. Then they said we're from KORn and Vai was interested in their ability. So he asked of they could have a jam together. Aparrently they said they couldn't jam and didn't know any scales ect.....

AHHHHH.. I wouldn't even bother getting frustrated from it. Its just soooo, so , soo ..... uh, y'know just so...

Some days ago, on a internet page called drummers on the web, Lars Ulrich won the best metal drummer poll! And the best drummer of 2002 was Travis Barker from Blink 182! Man! :OMG:
