i really liked them both, and they gave me the same kind of feeling that bath/lybm stuff did: that they would be VERY rewarding with repeated listens. so get a move on and finish/release that shit.

I can't believe it's going to be done this weekend. (Except for mastering). It's been over a year since I recorded my parts and now I can't wait 4 days to hear the end product.

no, i wouldn't say similar to the bath/lybm stuff, really...i mean, it's not DISSIMILAR, like, it's definitely maudlin of the Well, but it's really...compositional. one of the songs i heard was fifteen minutes long, and it wasn't just repetition or opeth-style disconnected parts, either. i can really easily see someone getting lost in the music, just listening to how the parts work with each other and the lyrics and everything else.

and sam, i especially noticed the drums. VERY very good.
