Who's heard "The Atrocity Exhibition"?

Anyone else heard the new Exodus? On first listen, I though "ehh ok" but I just had it on as background music. However, after repeated listens, I can now say it's fucking awesome. Sure, the songs are long and some take time to gain momentum but when they get going, they kick your ass. Dukes really uped his performance on this one. I never got why he got shat on so much cause I liked his vocals on Shovel Head. Anyway he does a great job.

Hmmm. I kinda thought the same thing when I first got it. I haven't really listened to it only but a few times...I'm going to have to give a spin again tonight. SHKM was tits!

Shovel Head I loved right from the first listen. This one took a while cause like I said some of the songs are wicked long. Gary and Lee's guitar war in "Funeral Hymn...

Can't get into the new album and they are releasing part two in Feb. of 2008 to this trainwreck?!
That's not to say that the record doesn't have it's moments, just that there aren't many...
And yes SHKM was the shit...

I think its a good epic thrash metal album, lots of killer leads, not super fast but still has the punch Exodus brings to the table. Holt wrote most of the album, on the next one I hear Lee Altus will be writing most of it, so it will sound different than Exhibition A it may be faster.

Never has an album grown on me so fast. This will probably end up being my number 1 of '07
