I mean... the way they write it... it seems like the kid showed remorse; but we don't really know. At 15... hormones are raging.. you don't know what the fuck to do with yourself. A really dire combination of factors could really screw someone up enough for them to think touching a 3 year old was fine.
But I have to say... the fact he got down and prayed and all that... who says the household wasn't fucked up, and it wasn't the dad's lack of affection and attention to his son that caused this??

Just pointing out that we don't actually know. I probably would yes.. but then again.. I wouldn't have done it in the first place.
Just finished the entire article, and while both parties are seriously deplorable, IMO the father was way, WAY worse - the son obviously had serious emotional problems, he was 15, and was apologizing and begging for help and forgiveness, and the father just went wild like a fucking animal, sadistically beating and dehumanizing him (stripping him naked) before executing him...sorry, that's just savage and disgusting.

the article says there was no sign of rape (vaginally), so technically he didn't rape her in that sense. It was sexual assault if all he did was touch her, and obviously that's terrible, but the kid clearly was remorseful and needed some serious help. The kid is clearly no saint but his father was clearly in the wrong. It is essentially sexual assault to force your son to strip naked to humiliate him before you muder him.
neither was in the right, but at least the kid saw error in his ways.
