just bought dvd player (sony) and a home theathre center (sony).. and i´m having wierd problem!! when i burn videoCD some of tracks wont be shown in color!!! why? have i bought a piece of shit? format i´ve been using: mpg, mpeg ( i dont even know what´s the different between these, if there is any.. )
PAL? NTFS?

@Tooled: I do not use the VCD format, so I barely can throw a bit of light over your problem. In any case, what about testing the video files with other DVD players? You should detect if the problem is your player or the video file.
