why today is a special day

* i woke up 2 hours early so I could leave work just as early. so i am all alone in the office, doing the same amount of no work i'd be doing if I came in at 9:45.

* i am wearing a $400 suit! i have to leave work immediately and get on a greyhound bus to get to a wedding this evening. since i usually wear jeans and something like a Khanate t-shirt to work, i think i am going to turn some heads.

* DRINKING COFFEE. now my mouth tastes awful, but i need the caffeine. i might as well have had cool ranch doritos for breakfast.

* haven't smoked a cigarette in two days, and only 1 three days ago. this is down from my usual of four to twenty per day. i rule.

it's weird how quickly I developed the non-smoker's hatred for cigarettes since I quit. and I used to think it was wierd to feel that way back when I was a smoker.

Dude, I hate cigarettes but I still smoke about 3 packs a week. I generally can't get more than half way thru a smoke before I toss it, unless I'm drunk. Then I can't smoke enough.
