probably something like a $5 gift card to the cafeteria

which really could be considered a punishment

(you have to be really careful which foods you eat :yuk: )

i remember this.

but i just wanted to talk about food. i'm eating spaghettios and a peanut butter sandwich. such a 5 year old's lunch. *wishes eureka's castle was on*

Oh right. That wouldn't make sense.

The ipud must've come from one of many other raffles they held, in a poor attempt to boost food sales.

Eh, as far as cafeteria food goes it was alright, the problem was that there were things you just couldn't eat, i.e. the milk/yogurts would spoil in the terribly designed open front display fridge thing.

It got to the point where everyone was getting the dude to make grilled cheeses. It drove him nuts. A whole cafeteria full of foods they slaved over making all morning and then he constantly has to make grilled cheeses, which were overpriced being like $3 or so (just the simple 2 slices of bread and a slice of american cheese style, nothing fancy at all.) In fact it angered the grill guy so much he got them to take grilled cheeses off the menu, and then refuse to make them for people who asked! That only lasted about a week.

Thursdays were usually taco bar day and they were damn awesome. It was tricky though because they priced it by weight, so I had to leave off dense items like sour cream, or guac. If you weren't careful it could end up being a $7 bowl of taco salad.

In the few months before I quit they finally realized no one was eating there anymore, and that by raising prices constantly to make up for lost revenue didn't help matters at all, so they completely reformed their design and started following health regulations and things got better.

It was still the same ol' bland cafeteria food though.
