Wow, this is the tastiest piece of ear candy I've heard since "If_then_else". Not a major album, IMO, but provides a great break from screeching black metal vocals or death grunts. Anyone else have an opinion on this album/band?
I'm no big fan of Within Temptation but, yes, Mother Earth is a more than decent release. A bit too soft and slow (I always get sleepy listening to it) at times though...but all in all a good album!
"Mother Earth" is a very good album.
The single "Ice Queen" is getting Within Temptation lots of (mainstream) media attention here in The Netherlands at the moment.

If you loved the show, you'll really love the books, they're way better. By the way, I see that they're published in Hebrew by Mizrachi, Tel Aviv, if you're interested.
This is the kind of album that I loved right away -- but also got sick of rather quickly. Overall, I like it though.
It's definitely strange in that some of the songs rock out and yet others sound like they belong in a Disney soundtrack. I can just see Ariel bursting out of the sea with a couple of these songs in the background.
It's a lot different from their other two, and I like it much, much, much better.
