Although this music bores me to death now, this band has some pretty decent sounds but mainly due to it reminding me of NM, except they have that godawful keyboard. It's not so much a poor man's Nevermore as it is a destitute bum living under a bridge's Nevermore.

Seriously...fuck keyboards. CAN YOU HEAR ME ALL THE WAY BACK THERE IN 1998?

Great voice, though. Still, does anyone listen to this type of metal anymore? Neal's right: it's "who cares" metal. That whole power/prog thing has been done to death and it never really was that great, just had a few bright moments.

I don't hate them, I just think it's a little overdone. We're just jaded. Like I said, it's a good band and they have a cool sound, but aren't we past this? I'm not speaking for everyone else, just my own opinion. Metal is oversaturated with bands like this and it's a shame because this is a good band. Still, don't take my word for it because I'm just done with this stuff and simply bored with it all...I'm all about doom/stoner/sludge/ and experimental. If you're into this then more, ahem, power to you...not trying to bring you down because of it. It's just meh to me.

Sounds to me like they listened to it and then stated their opinions. Not sure how you can deduce that they "automatically hate" from that.

Not everyone is always going to like the same things as you.
