I've decided to put together a compilation CD of assorted songs I like when I hear them on the radio, but would never consider buying the album. What follows is the list so far. I'm open to further suggestions!

The Kingsmen: Louie Louie
Boston: More Than A Feeling
Loverboy: Turn Me Loose and Everybody's Workin' For The Weekend
Men At Work: Who Can It Be Now?
Mike Oldfield and Maggie Reilly: Moonlight Shadow
XTC: Dear God
Mr. Mister: Broken Wings and Kyrie
Wall of Voodoo: Far Side of Crazy
Mark Cohn: Walking In Memphis
Del Amitri: Nothing Ever Happens
Quiet Riot: Cum On Feel The Noize
The Church: Under The Milky Way
Split Enz: Six Months In A Leaky Boat
Joy Division: Love Will Tear Us Apart
The Bangles: Walk Like An Egyptian (natch!) and Manic Monday
Suzanne Vega: Luka
Duran Duran: Ordinary World
Fuel: Shimmer

I'll probably think of twice as many songs once I've posted this, but jump in if there's anything you think I've overlooked. The way things are shaping up, It might have to be a double :).

This one was called Super Hits and had lots of songs I hadn't heard of - the only one I knew was Workin' for the Weekend, and that's only because it's on the Grand Theft Auto: Vice City soundtrack. Stumbled across an album of theirs at Amazon while looking for albums in the style of Styx and REO Speedwagon (from those silly lists on the side of the page) and listened to the sample for Weekend and immediately thought, "I know that song!". Then I went to Borders on Friday and saw that they had the CD for $11, so I purchased it.

What's that? You didn't ask for my life story? :(
