WRETCH, the US Metal Band have signed a worldwide deal with PURE STEEL RECORDS!

"We are extremely excited to be able to take advantage of this opportunity." Said Nick Giannakos, Wretch guitarist and longest-running member. "Wretch has been associated with Bill Peters and his Auburn Records label since the 80s, and we will always be appreciative of the doors he has opened up for us, but signing with Pure Steel is a smart business move for Wretch and will allow a much wider distribution of our music."

The release date of the new WRETCH album "Warriors" on CD is December 5th, 2014. The preorder phase will start on November 21st, 2014 in our webshop.

WRETCH is a U.S. Power Metal band from Cleveland, Ohio, with origins that go back to the mid-80s. Our major musical influences are in the vein of Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Dio & Helloween. WRETCH's music features strong melodic elements, clean vocals and twin lead guitars for harmonies and dueling leads. The lyrical element of our songs tends to run along the lines of Dio and Black Sabbath, with subject matter focusing on the struggle between good and evil, fantasy, magic and the human condition.

The drive behind WRETCH is the love of writing, recording and the live performance of Heavy Metal. The feel of performing in front of an audience of metal fans is a thrill few other musical genres offer. This shared passion, enthusiasm and energy between metal bands and metal fans is why we do what we do.

The album "Warriors" is our first offering on Pure Steel Records. We are extremely proud of the work we did on this album. Although, at times, it appeared that the project wasn't meant to be as we faced several set-backs and struggles during the production of this album, we really came together as a band and we think the song writing and performances on this album will show that.

OHIO POWER METAL ACT WRETCH SIGN WITH EXTREME MANAGEMENT GROUP!!!!
Hailing from north east Ohio, power metal thrash act WRETCH are very pleased to announce that the band have signed a management deal with New York based international management agency EMG (Extreme Management Group)!!

WRETCH will join some of the leaders of the heavy music genre, such as SUFFOCATION, ATHEIST, ORIGIN, CATTLE DECAPITATION and many more on the EMG roster. Commenting on the new partnership, guitarist Nick Giannakos offers "We can't wait to get started with our partnership with EMG! We know they are going to be able to move Wretch forward in every way possible and we are looking to bigger and better things in the future!!"

The band have had a remarkable and long spanning career, and following a long hiatus reformed in 2004 to take the bands power metal excellence to the world stage. Following the release of 'Reborn' (2004) the highly acclaimed album led to WRETCH performing the Headbangers Open Air Festival in Germany in 2007. The band would later return to Europe to perform the Up The Hammers Festival in Greece in 2013 and released the 'Rise To Power' EP to further promote the band in Europe. Following the performance and EP release WRETCH secured an international record deal with German label Pure Steel Records. The band released its second full length 'Warriors' through Pure Steel Records in 2014.

WRETCH have a European tour set for March 2017 alongside Split Heaven and will be releasing the bands new album titled 'The Hunt' in February through Pure Steel Records. Expect big things this coming year from this enduring and shredding power metal five piece now backed by one of the leaders in international metal music management.

After the CD release in December 2014 follows the album "Warriors” in a limited edition of 200 black copies with insert, 3 Bonustracks and patch on vinyl.
