Cool to know! I'll install it too in my mahogany seven stringer along with '59 in 2-3 weeks, and see how it sounds.

still think the SH15 is the best pasisve....but I wanna start using different pickups for different bands....

Honestly though, in my recent SH-4/SH-4 VIII/SH-6/SH-15 shootout in my all-mahog Schecter (which I'll be posting shortly), I found I preferred the JB to the Distortion (they really are identical except for the magnet, and I didn't like the harshness of the SH-6), so personally that'd be my vote as an alternative! (though not like you need any advice on tones haha)
