Fixed
Old computer caught fire, thus new computer and new fresh install of Cubase sx3.
Plugged in my alesis photon x25 midi keyboard, playing notes to record and
A) the sound is triggered as soon as soon as I hit the key so, all good here..
B) The midi information doesn't actually appear on the midi track until 26 bars later.....
Now hopefully theres just something so bat-shittingly wrong with my settings that one of you guys can help?
other info incase it helps: Xp pro, c2d e8500, 2 gig 1066 ram, Toneport ux2 latency is reporting as 13 milliseconds....
Edit: Restarted and the delay has gone down to 1.8 seconds! Meh
