I don't know if that makes me a fan but I do like Blue Blood and Jealousy, they had well-written melodies and guitar parts along with that japanese touch. The live album from 92 is also very well done! Screaming girls in the first rows included ahah.
On the other hand, their numerous ballads bore me quickly, except for one or two.

I don't know about the Kiss cover but Yoshiki was their leader/drummer/keyboardist indeed.
