Did anyone get a chance to play this game yet? It's got an amazing plot and storyline and it just looks fucking awesome.

Here's a brief description of the game:

The story chronicles the ongoing struggle between cybernetic Norse gods, the invading machine presence and mortal men, it features many Norse gods and characters from Norse Mythology including Thor, Loki, Odin, Hel, Heimdall, Freiyja and the Yggdrasil: the tree of life acts as a gateway to an alternate world known as Cyberspace that is accessed through the advanced technology of the gods.
The human gods are using cybernetic implants to supplement their own abilities, thus becoming more machine like. Conversely, the advancing machine army is harvesting human blood and limbs in an attempt to become more human.


The demo was awesome (downloaded it and played it on Live), and reviews so far have been mixed. Did anyone happen to check it out yet?

Just now saw your post because I was out of town this weekend and you may have picked this game up already, but I'll reply anyway:

I've been following this game for several months and picked it up when it was released last week. I *LOVE* it. I have played through the full campaign as a Beserker and while it became difficult to stay alive in later levels because of his lack of defense it just made me be a little smarter and not charge into a room and melee everything like I could in the demo. There is tons of loot in the game - so much that you'll constantly be checking your inventory and equipping new items and seeing if you have new charm quests to complete. You'll hear that cool sound of picking up the better loot A LOT.

If you thought the demo was awesome you'll love the full game... the demo barely gets you a taste for all the cool challenges ahead. I think you'd be happy with your purchase (and besides, it's part of a trilogy... so more good times are coming in the future!) Todd, thanks for the quick good review! I actually haven't bought the game yet, but played it at a friend's house over the weekend. You're right, it's a fucking great game!!!

I plan on getting it whenever I get a chance, and then we will def. be playing some co-op! I look forward to it!!!!

Hey, how you guys like that new Mega Man II? That metal blade is so METAL....





There are just too many great games coming out these days... it scares me what can happen when more creative people get their hands dirty in code and rendering, and create some truly genius stuff. Just did some Googling about this game, and I'm really trying to keep myself away! I don't need any more addictions!!!!
