XM Satellite radio

I'm researching getting this - or rather I pretty much know I'm going to...anyone else here have it?

the signals come from satellites...over 100 channels, I guess its just the radio equivalent of satellite tv. I'm probably going to go with the boom box unit, for portability around the house.

subscription is like $10 a month.

I've heard mixed reports, but maybe check cnet or something? it's a good idea, assuming enough people sign up and it sticks around.

that's the thing. the few people I know who have it love it; it would be nice to have for variety, especially due to the myopic nature of Columbus media during football season.
