THIS WEEK ON THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW: There are bands that find their way onto THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW that never seem to get their big break. One of those bands is Astral Doors. This band has been one of Neeley & Chris' favorites since they came out, but for whatever reason they can't seem to get the break they need to become one of metal's elite bands. That doesn't stop the CMS from realizing how great they are though. They are back with a brand new album called NEW REVELATION, which may be the best yet in their short career. We'll do a New Music Listening Party for NEW REVELATION, and one of the members of Astral Doors is scheduled to join us on the show as well.
Additionally, longtime Classic Metal icons Y&T are back with a brand new DVD called LIVE: ONE HOT NIGHT! It's a smoker, featuring 2 DVDs of footage as well as a CD with a great concert recorded with one of Classic Metal's best live bands ever. We'll play a few tunes from LIVE: ONE HOT NIGHT, and vocalist Dave Meniketti will stop by to talk about all things Y&T.
Finally, regional favorites Starz are out and touring once again, and have asked onto THE CLASSIC METAL SHOW to let people know what they are doing. One of the biggest regional forces out there, Starz has always had a strong underground following. A member of the band will be stopping by to talk Starz with the guys as well Saturday.
