yeah I guess. I already knew that he actually is a good martial artist and the fact that his buddhism is at least somewhat genuine. Its just the way he works it into his movies is so awful. Really the fact that he makes movies at all is pretty awful. They are just so bad. I feel like there must be something else he could do and be a buddhist martial artist.

He was the first westerner to obtain second dan in aikido and was essentially the reason why that particular martial art was imported to the US. Dude is really good and first few movies are classics of the dumb martial art movie.

again, I've never seen a Seagal film, so maybe seeing one will make me hate him for cashing in on his Buddhism/martial arts stuff. but I have the impression that there is really nothing for me in a Seagal film, so I'll probably remain ignorant for the forseeable future.

It's pretty dope, there are bluesy tracks, even some uptempo dancehall, ragga things going on. I think stevie wonder is on it to. I only listen to it drunk though.
