So different players. Everybody knows the story of Jeff being able to play Yngwie's songs at age 14, but later on - and it's nowhere as obvious as on ZOP - he assimilated Jason Becker's style.

You can joke about Yngwie all day but he has his place in rock guitar history, he perfected what Blackmore was trying to do - on a completely different level. When people recognize your style and tone among millions of copycats - you're on to something.

I always appreciated Jeff much more for the unique RIFFZ...

I love riffing and Jeff does it a lot more. Yngwie is a great riffer but he rarely does it. Two great guitarists though!

I think all the albums up to and including Trilogy are amazing. Everything after was kinda crap but all the albums had their moments. I thought Alchemy was a nice return to form and then everything after that album has been completely unlistenable.
