Hey ya'll,

I'm trying to compile a comprehensive list of URLs of metal sites, & thought I'd ask for your help (who better to ask, right??). What I'm looking for is your favorite general-type sites..not a band's site, but more sites that cover metal in general. If you can give me URLs and perhaps an idea of what the site is about (like if it's a message board, or mostly reviews, or interviews, or a general webzine..and if it covers all metal, or a certain sub-genre like death or black or prog or whatever), it'd be greatly appreciated!

Oh, and I already have UM on the list..hehe :)

Thanks!!

bnrmetal is good as Soilworker posted. It is a general site that outlines bands, their members, both current and previous and their albums that they have out etc. Very cool site.

Another one that I like is http://www.zenial.nl

Again, this site is a similar thing to the bnr metal site. It has a good listing of bands and once again their albums, members, etc. The thing that makes this site interesting is all of the statistics on it, along with the ability for vistors to rate cd's and even write their owns reviews on the site for others to read. It also has a forum. Well worth a look, nicely made site.

http://www.darkwrath.org

This site is just desktops, but it is still a good site, there are lots of them.

I will post more when I come across them.

http://www.metalobserver.com is a really good site with articles, a lots of reviews and interviews, and also some sort of diaries that members from different bands has posted on the page. Well.. one of my all-time favorite sites that deal with metal ;)

I should add that links to sites that aren't in English are definitely welcome..thanks to everyone for the links! :)

Im a reviewer for www.metalreviews.com We do new reviews every week and were some of the first to review Avantasia II and In Flames Reroute to Remain. Anyways I didnt mean for this to be just a promo post.
