Your favourite graphic artist ?

I like each of them, but I get the feeling that this kind of design is pretty trendy atm,
not like this is a bad thing and the mentioned guys are really good at this style.
It's a bit like audio engineering, Sturgis for example is pretty good at what he's doing
but there are hundred of guys with a similar style that aren't as good as him because
that's a pretty famous style atm.
John Dyer Baizley stands out quite a bit imho, really digging his stuff.

I am still digging the guys I liked 10 years ago:

Frank Frazetta - creator of the almighty death dealer

http://www.spawn.com/
Todd McFarlane - Spawn, that's it!

Dan Seagrave - his art has a strange twist to it, really digging it, reminds me of a
graphic version of h.p. lovecraft stories :D

Chip Kidd - really different, pretty famous guy, digging him especially because of
the flat design on the Jurassic Park book cover.

Florian Wirth - a friend of mine who I know since I am 8 years old, he did loads of
stuff 10-15 years ago with my brother, really strange alien style stuff and so on,
nowadays he works as an Art Director.

Erik Nitsche - I am a sucker for classic swiss design...

http://www.drewstruzan.com/
Drew Struzan - look at the stuff he did... nothing more to add, everyone has
seen his work!

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Michael_Bierut
Michael Bierut - so simple, so great, yep, I love typography

The last one is probably my brother, he's actually just drawing and sculpting for
fun in his freetime, but he's really, really good at it.
I still think that it's a waste that he's a dentist now...not sure if it counts here.
He's pretty good at adapting styles and changing them, he was able to draw
almost photorealistic versions of animals with 7-8 years, most of the time he's
just scribbling with a pencil on small pieces of paper, but it doesn't really matter
what kind of tool he uses.
At least 30% of my work is designing stuff, but my brother has like 10 times more
talent in the fingertip of his pinky than I have.
No clue how he does it, a 2 meter acrlyic painting on canvas or a 1 cm small sculpture
made out of stone, he gets it done, really frustrating :D

Dan Seagrave, Travis Smith, Giger, Ed Repka, Dave Patchett (Cathedral covers), Steven O'Malley, Kristian Wahlin, Andreas Marshall, Derek Riggs, Michael Whelan, Tanya "Nacht" Stene (first three Ulver albums), Robert Venosa (Cynic), Robert's wife Martina Hoffmann, and a new guy named Chris Cold who is a fantastic speed painter.

Fabio Listrani
He's the guy who does our album art and he's awesome
