You're Next

I just recently went to see the Conjuring on an Ultra Screen. Crazed! Never saw a movie on a screen that big before and unfortunately we got there late and ended up having to sit in the front row, so the entire movie your looking back and forth and tilting your head back.. I'm sooo behind on movies it's ridiculous! I'll have to lock myself up in my house one weekend and have a movie marathon...

No one really commented on this movie, but I ended up seeing it in February or so. I liked it quite a bit, and I just recently saw The Guest. It's from the same director and same screenwriter of You're Next, but I couldn't actually say which was the better movie. The Guest is like a mashup of The Talented Mr. Ripley, First Blood, Face-Off, some John Carpenter influence and a bunch of other movies you've already probably seen, with some 80s camp thrown in for good measure, but it's done really well.

I've been ignoring that movie, but looking at it again shows it has the only interesting character and good actor on the Teen Wolf (MTV) show. Been wondering how he would do in something other than that awful show.
