hey man, any tips on that sweep tapping stuff?

Im just doing regular string skipping tapping stuff in that vid, but as far as sweeping and tapping, unless the sweep is very high on the neck, I tend to sweep over the fretboard as opposed to by the pickups where you normally pick. That way I can get the tap and return back to sweeping quickly.
