Wow, me and you have something in common, Sue. I am a HUGE Melvins fan. One of my all-time favorite bands. Did you happen to catch their recent tour or get their new album? I've seen them so many times, it's ridiculous:lol: I think (A) Senile Animal is up there as one of their best. Anyways, nice link, I haven't seen that one in awhile.

glad you enjoyed!
i didnt catch their last tour. i'm not even sure if they came this way [i'm willing to bet they didnt].

i dont have the last album, either. it's on my short list.

Love both of those bands. I never got a chance to see Kyuss but I have seen Clutch upwards to twenty times. The new Melvins is friggin awesome! It isn't like some of their releases where they have a bunch of noise and basically filler on their albums. The new one is Melvins just how I like them, rocking. They have two drummers on the new one and it sounds great. Jared and Coady from Big Business joined the band last summer, and I honestly believe it is the best thing they could have done. The Melvins/Big Bizz tour came to these place in North Carolina last fall. Are any of these close to ya?
Oct 24, 2006 Cat's Cradle Carrboro, NC
Oct 25, 2006 the Milestone Charlotte, NC
Oct 26, 2006 the Orange Peel Asheville, NC

I caught them in Detroit, Grand Rapids, and Toledo on a little 3 day jaunt.

You are getting cooler by the second, Sue:headbang: I've seen them too. I also just saw a band that opened for Clutch recently called Year Long Disaster and the bass player from KTB is in it. Not bad...but they are not as good as KTB.

it's not so much that i'm 'getting cooler.' it's just that you're finally starting to realize it. :p

i havent heard about Year Long Disaster. is he no longer in KTB??

Sue, being a Carolina girl, have you heard of Throttlerod? They make their way up to NY a couple times a year and they rock.

being a Carolina girl, yes, i have heard of Throttlerod, and you are correct. they most definitely do rock. :headbang:

Karma to Burn broke up in 2002 and the drummer is now a drug and alcohol counselor and the bass player, of course, is in Year Long Disaster and the guitarist is playing in some band called Dragon Ass:lol:

Back in the day, there was a Punk band called "Touch Me Hooker". I always liked that name.
No, MyHatred, it is not because I like hookers.
