I threatened to make this thread, here be it.

Uhh... Well yeah, he kicks ass. All those albums he's put out, and I only have 8 so far. However, I got those 8 very quickly, because I found myself to be severely addicted, almost as bad as I was to Maiden way back in 7th grade. Zappa is the only thing that's even come CLOSE to that since then.

I'm currently obsessing over Roxy & Elsewhere and the glorious HOT RATS. :hotjump: What a masterpiece of an album that is. This guy defines musical genius, and he's my newest, biggest inspiration.

It sucks digging this so much, because none of my friends seem to hold the same reverence. All I hear is "put in some metal." :Smug:

Frank Zappa was a genious.He had a really cool movie called 200 Motels too.Now theres some Trippy Shit.The Thing-Fish double was good too.it was like a play.i really like about everything he's done.as well as his joint work with Captain Beefheart.I like the Roxy's and Elsewhere about where he talked the dude into smoking a gym-sock.Heh..you're on the right road.
