I forgot what they're called but there is also a parasite that goes through this crazy life cycle involving, If I remember correctly, two insects and an animal (or was it a fish?). One of the insects is ants. It controls them just like this fungi. Zombi ants.

Maybe someone here knows what I'm talking about because my memory on the parasite is screwed. I've been wanting to watch this show again but I can't find it because I can't remember the damn things name. It was either on the Animal Planet or Discovery. Maybe it was National Geographic. :lol:

Anyways, Zombi ants aren't new but that fungi is.
 


This isn't new research, BBC filmed it years ago.
But it is fuckin' freaky!

David Attenborough is awesome, I love the Planet Earth and Blue Planet stuff.
