ZZ TOP Cancelled?!

sorry Swine! That sucks...Hey...You'll know if this is true or not, being that you're the authority on all things "TOP". A buddy of mine says this is their last tour because Billy and Dusty can't stand each other any more? Any truth to that??? I can't imagine them being at each other's throats but that's what this guy says. Surely the "lil old band from Tejas" can get along!

Yeah that's true they haven't gotten along for several years, since about '86.
They each have their own tour buses & they only see each other(off the road) when they are ready to record a new disc. There's a lot of tension there, but no one has pulled a "Motley Crue" & busted the other in the grill. Billy G. IS ZZ Top, in fact on most of the records, since Eliminator he has played most of the instruments, Frank & Dusty coming in to finish the tracks. There's this book called "Sharp Dressed Men," that's good reading for the Top fans & even for folks that are moderately interested in the band. They are supposed to be in Sturgis on Monday with Twisted Sister & a few turds bands...
They will be broadcasting this on VH-1 Classic in Sept. Look for it. Dee will interview the bands...

They need a ZZ Top Behind The Music. I'd love that, being the huge Top fan that i am. I think i can safely say i'm the biggest Top fan here, second only to Sixx.
There will be in Sturgis this Monday. A Friend at work, who's a "biker" from the old days, heads out there every year. She & her oldman, ride from Oregon all the way there. Must be killer. She said she'd check 'em out & let me know how it was. They will be on VH-1 Classic in Sept. Though that will be just clips & stuff like that. It would be nice to have a BTM on them, but their chance has come & gone. I would have said it was a possibility a couple years ago, now I'm not too sure. By the way, I got that Pat Tarvers Trio disc just to hear Nasty Dogs & Funky Kings, hell of a killer song, by the way, he butchered it. Have you ever heard the moving sidewalks?
