Could be in the controversial opinion section but I thought it would best warrant it's own thread. Here it goes for me off the top of my head. Most of these i rarely listen to but do admire them and listen to them once in a blue moon when I want to take a break from Metal or other hard/heavy rock genres:
1. Cranberries
2. Mazzy Star
3. Chris Isaak
4. Madonna (her more serious material)
5. Mariah Carey (same as Madonna)
6. Vincente Fernandez
7. Depeche Mode
8. Gustavo Santaolalla
9. Julio Iglesias (I'm latin so exploring that music like #6)
10. Bob Marley (don't like any other reggae artist though)
11. Classical music (romantic period mainly as well as Mozart's time)
12. Flamenco music
13. Gypsy music
14. New Age Music (haven't listened to it in a long time though)
15. Folk music from different countries like russia
16. Peruvian indigenous music
17. Brian Adams
Anyways that is all i can think of off the top of my head... I'm sure I'll add to the list or see ones I like on someone else's list...
