I did a search, but didn't find much. Anyways, what are your opinions regarding the best book to better my mixing skills? I'm not a complete noob (I know what reverb/compression/etc is), but I certainly have plenty of room to improve.

Thanks

I just picked up Mixing With Your Mind. I'll let you know how it is. I haven't found too many other books very helpful on mixing.

That book changed my mixes because I could suddenly edit them to sound better and mix themselves easier. Not enough can said about a good performance, and you can force them to be at least acceptable/perfectly in time.

mixing audio definetly, i didn't like the handbook feels like it's from the eighties or something, paragraphs are short and more then half of the book are interviews.

is it bad that i disagree with the way he approaches a lot of things in multi platinum pro tools?

Mixing secrets for the small studio by mike senior has excellent information regarding setting up your room and preparation to mixing, could not rate this book high enough.
