Being a 30 year fan and Mötley Crüe being my favorite band, I am devastated to hear the recent news. In the video below, you will see me burning my ticket to a Crüe show in another country. And I haven't seen them live even once.. As a confirmation that I won't be reprinting this ticket and going to the show or selling it, you can see all the details about my seat location in the pinned comment in the video. It will stay empty as part of the protest. I am hoping more people will follow, burn their tickets and leave their seats empty.. Here's the video:

Given they're your favourite you'd know you were buying a ticket to some fairly abysmal crap by this point. I saw them in 2011 just for something to do when a music festival was cancelled on me. Maybe one of the last tours where they were still 'ok'. A reviewer noted Mick Mars was the one working hardest back then too.

They're surely nowhere near 80's, but back then when buying the ticket in 2022, I was all ok with that. Some bands you just have to see them live. Not anymore though..

It's really for the super fans nowadays. They aren't putting on decent shows anymore but it's really all that's left, if you're someone who really cherishes the band. Their 80s run was pretty good. It's commercial but they still managed to provide some of the best riffs in glam metal up until at least Dr. Feelgood. That said, they're not really a band who's albums I'd regularly play.
