Shit, reminds me I need to find some time to blag those songs! For the past week or two I've had it in the back of my mind - "blag album if it is in shops!" but it makes sense to sample first also!

Can I ask though - what is a "lyrical guitar" ?

I guess if you imagine a mix of Freedom Call, Rhapsody and Iron Maiden...you are almost there. Melodic, catchy metal!

I would say: keyboards based power metal with symphonic elements.
Nothing more nothing less, simply typical... but good! : )

With reference to the aforementioned "Lyrical guitar".....I would describe it as a guitar melody that takes you away and almost tells a story without words.
