To most people Melancholy Beast is only 4 months old but it actually has been almost 2 years since it was initially recorded (instruments Jan of 03, vocals came later). If you head on over to their website, Michaels posted a teaser snippet about the upcoming release, slated for early summer of next year.

What expectations does everyone have for it? I reckon it'll be as good as their debut, if not better, simply because of all the time that Michael has had to write songs. As for improvements, hmmmm, I'll have to come back on that as nothing I noticed on the debut needed anything drastic to be improved upon.

I just see this vision in my head of a monster 20 min + song about some fellow caught in this huge weird, otherwordly maze and his journey to get out where he encounters all kinds of crazy shit.

Hey! At least it hasnt been done before!
