What pisses me off

Scoured my place inside out, not there. Checked the Albion where I was at last night but not there. Last place I remember having it was this morning anyway. Woke up, shower, got changed, drove to work. Somewhere in that span it's gone missing. Checked under the car, around where I parked, where I took off from around the office... HOW FAR CAN A FUCKING WALLET GO!?!?

Yep. Checked the pockets of clothes I wore last night. Checked down the sides and under the cushions of the lounge I passed out on last night. Even checked in the fridge (don't laugh, it's happened before with my keys).

Ferret, I know some heartless people that would find a wallet with that much money and just take the money and dump the wallet. It's very sad that they have no heart and would consider theft (technically theft because your contact details would be in there).

If I found a wallet with that much cash I'd give it all back in one piece, that would be so dog to take it.

It's funny you mention that.... I remember reading about a study that a couple of uni students did where they'd "lose" a wallet with $50, never to see it again. BUT then they'd lose one with $500 and it would be turned in to police.

Some people (read SOME) see the larger amount and get paranoid about it being drug money or the like haha

That, plus the whole "meh there's only $20 here, not even worth the effort of tracking someone down" factor. $900 is a bit more worth the effort, and more likely to garner a reward in favour.

Yeah Todd, was gonna ask whether that was the reason they gave in the study or not. Still very interesting though, psychological factors in play.

I didn't bring enough CDs with me from Australia.. I didn't know I was going to be stuck here for this long!
so now, I don't have enough doom which is what I need right now.. doom and lots of it!!!

The yeti thing that eats you at the end of Ski.

i havent played that in years.
first time i remember was back at my dads work when i was waiting for him.
that was so long ago.

btw you can avoid it.
i managed to once, but not long after that another one comes along.

They gave several reasons why people handed back the larger sums of money... most came back to either feeling guilty/sorry for the person who lost it, fear of it being crime money and being tracked down or just good old fashioned human kindness

If I found a wallet with 900$ I would take the cash and throw the wallet in the bin.
