It is very good for getting a hold of old friends and old classmates etc. I have found friends that have moved to other countries and that I havent spoken to in about 10 years, its great.
The ones who whine and bitch about facebook are probably still living with their mom and dad, still in school and are still hanging out with the friends they allways have had etc etc. When you get older and might have to move to get a job and grow apart from your friends, then you will realize how useful and good facebook really is.

So... shut your pieholes and get back to your homework, kids.

Something like that. But just like the other Hundreds of sites like that. It starts out fun and then becomes rediculously annoying with all the little emo kids adopting/feeding/training their pets as if it were a Pokemon fansit. All the little quizzes and add-ons and 'Find your porn-star name!'

I find it childish, and if I have people who actually conside me their friends I'll have their number.
