OCTOBER 2005 HUGE NEWS UPDATE

* Main studio sessions completed for upcoming CD
* Band opening for Kamelot in November 2005
* Update on Fear Dark re-release of Tales of Sullen Eyes EP
* Membership updates

Tons of news - lets get to it!

MAIN RECORDING SESSIONS FOR NEW FULL-LENGTH CD COMPLETE

The big news is that we are done with the major portion of tracking for our upcoming (still untitled) full-length CD, to be released on Fear Dark, in the first quarter of 2006. The tracking was done between September 2nd and Septermber 25th, 2005, at Razzor Media / Mana Studios, St. Petersburg, Florida, and was co-engineered by Johnny Nunn and Shawn Ohtani. We are very pleased with the quality of tracking, the sounds, and our performance, and we feel that this will be the best Royal Anguish release to date (How many bands say that? Like, all of them right?). The CD will span 15 tracks and be nearly 50 minutes in length. Once all secondary tracking / editing is completed, the project will be sent off to Catheral Sound (Toronto, Canada) to be mixed by Derek James From.

UPDATE ON THE FEAR DARK RE-RELEASE OF TALES OF SULLEN EYES EP

Preceding the release of the full-length cd, Fear Dark will be doing a European limited edition release of our EP, Tales of Sullen Eyes. There was a slight delay in artwork for the release, but we seem to have overcome that obstacle and are now pushing forward with the final touches to get this release ready and into the market.

BAND TO OPEN FOR KAMELOT IN SEMINOLE, FLORIDA

Veteran's Day, November 11th, 2005, will see the only southeastern USA appearance this year for epic metal powerhouse Kamelot (Seminole, FL, @ Boomerz Boiler Room). Royal Anguish will be one of the opening acts for this show. We thank Thomas Youngblood from Kamelot for his work on getting us onto the bill! (Royal Anguish features former Kamelot bassist, Sean Tibbetts.) Come out early so you don't miss us!

MEMBER UPDATES

Upon completion of the new CD, R.A. bids farewell to Sean Currie on drums. Without skipping a beat, we are pleased to announce our newest addition, J.R. Daniels, who will take over the drum seat. Daniels has made a name for himself in the death metal band Trial By Stone for the past year and a half, and we are glad to be welcoming him into the Royal Anguish fold. We would also like to formally announce that keyboardist Anton Kalaj is an official member of the group.

The lineup now consists of the following individuals:

Matt Knowles: male vocals, rhythm guitars
Katy Decker: female vocals
Marius Kozlowski: lead guitar
Sean Tibbetts: bass
Anton Kalaj: keyboards
J.R. Daniels: drums
