there's just one thing i don't get about this great festival... why organize it on the 2nd (thursday, if i'm not mistaken) and not over the weekend.... there are many people who'll be driving from other parts of europe to see this festival, and many of them will have to take off from work...

The reason for the date is the bands. Most of these bands are going on a package tour and Thursday was given for Budapest. Of course weekend could had been better choice, but the Polish already had booked that in a year or so advance. But like is the case with some Finns, they simply fly to Budapest on tue/wed and have extended weekend trip in Budapest. With good music and cheap beer.

Practically only thing online is the play schedelu for the Nagyszinbad (= the main stage) and Gire starts and Testament is the last one to perform.
