Question about Floyd Rose

I've bought a Schecter Hellraiser with FR for home.
The problem is that I'm in 2 bands with diferent tuning (D and Drop C).
So when I want to compose music for each band I will have to retune guitar, no problema with my old Ibanez cause I just turned the tuner of the 6th string to D or C, but with a Floyd Rose it's a fuck to do it.

So my question is what will happen if I don't tighten the screws of the nut?
May I have tuning problems?
The aim is to control to control tuning with the tuners.

untightening the nut will totally fuck with tuning stability.


you can use the D-Tuna to tune down the low string one note. trem should be resting on the body or fixed witha backbox/tremstop then

That's what the guitarist in my band does - yeah the tuning stability is terrible, but then it is with a locking nut too...

But is it reliable?
What secondary effects or collateral damages could it happen?
