I'm currently reading Laurence C. Smith's The World in 2050: Four Forces Shaping Civilization's Northern Future. I've read less than half but I can already recommend it to anyone who is interested about how global warming, globalization, diminishing natural resources and over population will affect the future of mankind. I really like his realistic way to write, it's easy to read and he is not afraid to say things that are "not politically correct". Better review after I have read the whole book.
