I would pick up the LIVE album "Visions of Europe". That was the first album I picked up from them and it blew me away. Some songs off of this 2CD set sound even better than some of the studio tracks... Just my opinion... Enjoy. Hope to see Statovarius at PP3!!

My vote goes to the masters Speed Metal... Gamma Ray!! Their set was awesome, they came out flying and never stopped. It was great to hear everyone singing along and keeping the bands energy up! Kai Hansen seemed to be smiling all through the set, I think he was blown away at the crowd...

Ok this is going to make me feel old compared to the other posts here. I even forgot what the release year was but, the album that got me into metal was Quiet Riot's "Metal Health"... It was on to Maiden, Metallica and Megadeth after that.

I was at the Hampton Inn last year and will be again this year. There were a quite a few of us staying there last year. The walk to Earthlink from there isn't bad at all...

I also agree, last year I was able to go down to the floor and enjoy Kamelot's set with NO problems. No moshing, just headbanging and air guitar/drum playing Metalheads really getting into the show. I can't wait for this year!!!

Seems like there has been a change in the BG Tour Dates... Ticketmaster has Blind Guardian playing the Birch Hill in New Jersey on Thursday, Nov. 21. The BG Tour page has them playing on Sunday, Nov. 24. Guess they didn't change dates on the Tour Page yet??
