    OT: Nightwish

Is anyone going to the Nightwish concert at Universal Studios on Jan 21? It will be their biggest US concert ever. I'm looking forward to it. I also got Imaginaerum with a pre-order package. (I agree that not releasing on the same day in the Internet age is stupid!) I like it, especially...

    Fave song to see live?

Hallowed is my favorite Maiden song, and you all nailed it in San Diego this week. I agree that Wasted Years is great. The Trooper and Number are always fun too. Powerslave is probably my fav song that you didn't play this time. But pretty much any Maiden song that you are having fun playing...

My personal thoughts on the Kamelot situation

Does anyone think Kamelot would be good with a female lead? I started thinking this when I saw Simone would sing lead for some songs in South America. I'd love to see that. Kamelot has always had a lot of female imagery, and Roy's grace and perhaps vocal range are more common in women too...

The Official First Impressions/Updates/Reviews of this year's ProgPower

Thank you for an amazing festival. I flew in from San Diego for my first Progpower, and I've never been to a better organized concert. I loved the relaxed and friendly atmosphere, which really stands in contrast with so many venues that are so obsessed with what you do with your drink, your...

San Diego 4th and B this Sat May 15th!

I made it. You all rocked (even better than the real thing IMO). Your guest guitarist was also really good, and it was fun when Pearl and Ian joined you on stage. Has anyone posted any good pics? BTW, hope you can do an earlier show sometime. I wanted to bring my wife, but she's not up...

San Diego - Canes - Friday Aug 21st....greatg show!

This was my first time seeing the Iron Maidens, and I was really impressed. They handled Maiden's material with great skill, and are probably more like 80s Maiden than Maiden itself. I loved the focus on the 80s songs, including several that Maiden rarely if ever plays. I also appreciated all...
