My son and I should be there - Jack May even wear the sunglasses...

Iced Earth / Sabaton / Revamp 2014 Tour

Damn Straight! Closest I've come to seeing Zebra was having Randy Jackson sing Led Zep songs with the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra at Chastain. Great show - but I didn't get to hear "Who's Behond the Door" - one of my all time faves. Back on topic - Totally psyched for this IE, Sabaton...

ProgPower USA XV: Tickets Wanted or For Sale

Good Grief - I come out from under a rock to hear... this? (1) Mega Congrats to Glenn & Co - he needed this, he deserved this, and he got this. (2) Crap - I need a ticket for Fri and Sat. PM me, we can work it out. This looks like it will be a special 48 hours of Metal, and I'd like to say I...

    Sabaton lineup

You are correct, sir. They applied for the wrong Visa after procrastinating the application process AFTER Glenn did everything right on this end. Okay - I can forgive them for being stupid - it's been almost 2 years...

    PP USA XIV Schedule Update

Just sayin'... I love starting my day just seeing a post which tells me there will BE a PPUSA XV.

    Sabaton lineup

Totally what I thought, and I didn't want to say it. I have ALMOST forgiven Dream Evil for their hibernation sickness - but I'm not quite there yet. Snowy Shaw + Sabaton - I may just laugh throughout the entire set. In a good way.

    ProgPower 2014 Wish List

Folks I'd like back: Voyager Orphaned Land (I know they've played twice, but...) Haken D.S.O. Tyr Folks I'd like to see for the 1st time on PPUSA stage: Halcyon Way (Homer) Seven Kingdoms Arthemis I would have added Circus Maximus and Sabaton - but Glenn took care of those this...

Roster Announcement: ReinXeed out, Replacement Named

Okay - I am a pretty obnoxious Glenn Fanboy, but even I have stopped short of sausage references! It simply would NOT be Progpower without a band cancelling due to circumstances beyond the Promoter's control. I am waiting for an assclown to say the event should compensate with TWO bands to...

    T&N (Dokken remnants)

I saw them open for Dio in the "Tooth & Nail"/ "Last in Line" tour. Dokken simply killed killed killed it. Possibly the most electrifying hard rock performance I've ever seen. After their set I was exhausted - luckily it was Dio up next so I toughed my way through the night. I could...

He's also a wrestler - while I don't think he could throw YOU, Aaron could potentially be sent airborne.

SEVEN KINGDOMS: East Coast Dates Announced!!!

He plays OLB and Fullback - so headbanging comes kind of naturally. And he likes shows in Hell.

SEVEN KINGDOMS: East Coast Dates Announced!!!

Most excellent. I will be coaching on 8/24 with circles under my eyes and ears ringing...wait - I think I may have a bye the next day, so I may bring my son! Woo Hoo! Now let's hope for either Heaven or Hell.

    AMARANTHE announces US headline tour

You, sir, are a buzz kill. Doesn't make you WRONG, just a buzz kill. With the popularity of Pitbull in Miami, I'd like to think a live show like Amaranthe would have some traction.

SEVEN KINGDOMS: East Coast Dates Announced!!!

Any hints as to with whom you'll play Atlanta? Masquerade doesn't have you listed yet, but I'll have you on MY calendar!

Finally I will come over to visit PP USA!

Yeah - but watching 6-9yo kids bashing into each other playing "American Football" is a great hangover cure, i don't care where you are from! An early Sunday Braves game would have been awesome - especially with the way they've been playing. Alas - they'll be thumping the Dodgers (again)...

    AMARANTHE announces US headline tour

Actualy, having listened to both albums recently in their entirety (yard work - it helped), I could absolutely see Amaranthe being a bigger hit in Miami than in central FL. It's their poppy/Industrial crossover style. Crank up "Electroheart" and you'd get scantily clad tanned Miami bunnies...

Finally I will come over to visit PP USA!

Both of our major sports teams are playing out of town that weekend, so no real sports for you to observe on Sunday... But lots of youth football to check out Saturday morning to wash away your hangover from Friday!

    Amaranthe Mechanical Illusion

Yes. I just gave that song a listen from start to finish... and it reminds me of the stuff I danced to while going to clubs in England in the late 80's... except faster. I think this album pushes out the envelope for Amaranthe a little bit. Not sure if their first effort had a song like...

    Kingcrow ATL roll call

I second this. Kingcrow lit straight into Fading Out, and it was simply awesome. The sound was everything I wanted. I was really bummed to have to bolt... but my son was pretty patient with his old man, letting me stay out past midnight on HIS school night. I would have loved to have heard...
