It wouldn't need to be played at half the speed, just slow enough to not cut desired sustain short of the previous note. Ive used that method a million times and it yields an unnatural sound. If it was done like that then, respect.

Technology wouldnt allow for half speed tracking to yield a result as good as that record. Plus i have developed an ear that can pick that stuff out pretty quick, I never heard any red flags.

epitaph is what blew my mind, it had this wild evil but still somewhat melodic sound to all the guitars. onset is more of a grindy record.

Thanks guys! We are doing everything completely diy from here on out. I think we need to reach out to a different fanbase though, the scene kids didn't really take to our music. I think avenged sevenfold/trivium/bfmv fans would like our stuff.

We have absolutely no funding for outside production. I like being self-sufficient, but I do think it would be cool to have outside input. I consult with other guys in the industry alot and they give me their two cents.
