Speaking of a different mood, The Last Successor! Chinese progressive metal. Sweeping melodies, clean vocals, some traditional instruments, and a glorious mix of Western and Eastern song structure! This song is more of a light rock ballad, but I think you all might enjoy this. Making a separate thread for this one, but figured this is a nice place to add it too. edit: jeez, you guys already knew about them??? and I thought I was the "Asian metal guru" around here

Well, I had never heard of them till Milton men tioned them, and I have to agree ith everything you said about them. Damn where are all these excellent Chinese bands going from, Oh yea with almost 2 billion people, there is bound to be a few metal-heads

Ironically, eventhough I love Black Metal, I didn't really care for Deep Mountains too much. Maybe I just need to revisit them when I'm in a different mood.
