News Release For Immediate Release

Shady O' Grady's Rising Star Now Accepting Orders!

Hampstead, NC, 25 July 2006

Note: In the spirit of the unfettered, living after midnight, rocking 'til you drop kind of
lifestyle that Shady O' Grady's Rising Star emphasizes this press release will be "edgy"
and "dangerous" thanks to massive amounts of swearing, which we're told is how
musicians let people know that they're anti-establishment. Of course since we don't want
to offend anyone the coarse language has been replaced with the names of former U.S.
Presidents.

Hey world, are you ready to mother(Clinton)ing rock? I said, are you ready to
(CLINTON)ING ROCK? (Clinton)ing-A, we hope so, because the ultimate musical
RPG is right now warming the (Clinton) up, ready to take the stage and unleash a torrent
of power chords, a blitz of flash bombs, and enough hairspray to cause flashbacks to the
show Dynasty! We're of course talking about the anxiously awaited upcoming title for
Windows, Shady O' Grady's Rising Star.

Developed by Gilligames, Shady O' Grady's Rising Star is now available for pre-order
from now until August 15, 2006, at the specially discounted pre-order price of $34.95.
After Auguest 15th, the price will be $39.95.

Shady O' Grady's Rising Star is a fresh take on the computer RPG scene. Forget about
those RPGs where it's up to YOU to fulfill the ancient, Joseph Cambell prophecy and
lead your ragtag band of adventurers/rebels/used car salesmen and defeat the evil
dracolich/sentient evil computer/Girls Scouts of America. In Shady O' Grady's Rising
Star the only prophecy you'll be fulfilling is the prophecy to (Clinton)ing rock all night,
and sleep all day!

A musical single-player RPG, Shady O' Grady's Rising Star is all about creating the
perfect band and clawing your way to the top of the musical food chain, proving to the
rest of the musical world that you are indeed hot (Taft). Over the course of your career
songs will be written, bandmates kicked to the curb, and hotels will be trashed. You'll
travel the American roadways, enjoying the debauchery of (Taft)ty bars and clubs,
rocking out in studios, checking out the latest tracks at music stores, and living the life
you've always dreamed of. Best of all, when you're traveling across the country in a
single van packed with band members and equipment you won't have to deal with the
stench, unlike in real life. There's a reason most bands travel across country in a drunken
stupor you know...

Even if rock isn't your thing Shady O' Grady's Rising Star features enough musical
genres that practically everyone will find something to enjoy (sorry kazoo fans!). Players
can try their hand at blues, country, folk (and is there anything better than a granola
eating band trashing their hotel room?), jazz, metal, pop, punk, rap, rock, and ska. A
typical career will run about twenty hours of gameplay, but thanks to the variety of open-
ended choices no two games ever have to play the same way.

Like most Shrapnel products Shady O' Grady's Rising Star boasts a variety of mod-
friendly elements. Equipment can be added, existing equipment modified, maps can be
changed, new MP3s can be imported, and more. The rock never has to stop!

The stage beckons! Hit the lights, shove some metal up your (Carter), and let loose the
four horsemen! For more information on this hellaciously groovy title, please check out
