Nevermore - The Obsidian Conspiracy

I don't think that anyone who sits down, reads the lyrics, and really immerses themselves in Dreaming Neon Black could really say anything negative about it. THEN, take into account that it was based on a real event in Warrel's life (up to the point of the suicide at the end of the album, of course) and that should even further remove any negative opinions that anyone had about it. That album has gotten me through the most depressing periods in my life... break ups, death of my dad, etc... Maybe I put too much stock into it, but that album has a very special place in my (dead)heart (get it? haha :/ ), and always will.

I am in the minority it seems who thinks they peaked with DEAD HEART, and have steadily declined. Well, TGE was a step towards the right direction.

I agree. This one sounds vey promising tho. I definitely hear some Politics of Ecstasy in there. I guess the time off did them some good...
