Umm, what exactly is the Farmageddon Fest in Montana? I do have family in eastern Montana....

Found this on the website:

The Farmageddon Records Music Festival is a place for music lovers to unite, and celebrate their love for music together, it's a family thing. The festival showcases a wide range of roots music talent, many of which are actually artists on the Farmageddon Records Label. The festival is evolving, more genre's will be celebrated, the wings have been spread. This festival differs from most other festivals, in that the energy level is very positive, very uplifting, it's a place where you can go and be yourself. You won't find multiple stages, corporate banners hanging, fights, or bullshit. What you can expect to find at the festival is one stage, showcasing the well know to the unknown, on one stage only. You can also find a lot of great people, hanging out, taking it all in, under the big sky, in Montana.

This is a big campout, people are going to see the bands, but they are also going to get away from everyday life, society, the bullshit you deal with on a daily basis. In 2012 there was a new standard set, get a big group of awesome people together, and have a damn good time. There really is no other place like Montana, it's about as free of a place as you find in this day and age, no better place to host a music festival. July of 2012 was the birth of the festival, it showcased almost 50 bands, none of which let the real music lovers down, and 2013 will be no exception, it's going to be bigger, there will be larger names on the bill, but it will retain exactly what it is supposed to. The festival will never outgrow what started it, it will only evolve how it's supposed too. The goal for 2013 is simple, take everything good form the first year, apply it to the second year, and make things more comfortable. There will be a showering facilty, more food options, cheaper drinks, and more shade.

We will showcase 50 plus bands and artists in 2013, ranging from country and folk, to punk and metal, and everything in between. We will still adhere to having only one stage, it's way more personal, and you don't get that feeling like you are missing something. There will be more room this year for parking and camping, lots more! You might consider making your plans to be in Montana for a little longer than just the festival, it's truly beautiful country and very much worth exploring if you are making the trek. We will adding a section to the website of places you should checkout in Montana, we'll help you take the guesswork out of it.

Nothing like this is happening in this region, nothing of this magnitude anyway. There are a lot of music festivals, but they aren't as personable, they can't deliver that down home, sitting on your porch feel, like Farm-Fest will. The festival will take place in Montana once again, July 25th - July 28th. People will be allowed to set-up their campsites as early as Tuesday July 22nd if they choose too. The exact location is still up in the air right now, we are actively seeking out the land that will be the permanent location. The festival will take place somewhere between Butte MT and Missoula MT. in a rural setting. If you are planning on attending the festival, you can find out more information on the Attendstar ticketing page. We are really excited about 2013, we are looking forward to seeing you all again, and a lot of new faces!
