This might sound harsh, but think about it...
* Both bands started out around the same age(although GnR
could've been a tad bit younger)
* Both bands changed a few members while some were left
(think GnR's UYI album(s) and QVs Defiant Imagination.
*Both bands changed their lineup again, did some dates
and went in to hibernation(QVs current lineup and GnRs
current lineup)
...this would mean that Bart would be QVs Axl Rose and
Yanic would've been QVs Slash, in the sense that he has
a very strong trademark that's closely associated with the band
So, there's still fans that dig each bands current lineup. Each to his own.
Remember though, it took GnR almost 13(or was it 14?) years to release
Chinese Democracy and the QV camp has been pretty dead silent the last
2-2.5 years
anyone else see the similarities?
